Hydroquinone: Topical application of hydroquinone produces a reversible depigmentation of the skin by inhibition of the enzymatic oxidation of tyrosine to 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (dopa) and suppression of other melanocyte metabolic processes. Exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light will cause re-pigmentation of bleached areas. Tretinoin: Although the exact mode of action of tretinoin is unknown, current evidence suggests that topical tretinoin decreases cohesiveness of follicular epithelial cells with decreased microcomedo formation. Additionally, tretinoin stimulates mitotic activity and increased turnover of follicular epithelial cells causing extrusion of the comedones. Mometasone: Mometasone furoate exhibits marked anti-inflammatory activity and marked anti-psoriatic activity in standard animal predictive models. In the croton oil assay in mice, mometasone was equipotent to betamethasone valerate after single application and about 8 times as potent after five applications. In guinea pigs, mometasone was approximately twice as potent as betamethasone valerate in reducing m.ovalis-induced epidermal acanthosis (i.e. anti-psoriatic activity) after 14 applications.

Additionally, tretinoin stimulates mitotic activity and increased turnover of follicular epithelial cells causing extrusion of the comedones. Mometasone: Pharmacokinetic studies have indicated that systemic absorption following topical application of mometasone furoate cream 0.1% is minimal, approximately 0.4% of the applied dose in man, the majority of which is excreted within 72 hours following application.

Wash your hands before and after using the medication. Follow the instructions given below to safely use the Hydroquinone, Tretinoin & Mometasone Furoate Cream. 1. Take a pea-sized amount of cream or as prescribed by your doctor. 2. Apply the cream generously on the affected area and massage it with your fingers. 3. Massage the cream until it gets absorbed by the skin. 4. Stop using the Hydroquinone Tretinoin Mometasone Furoate Cream in case you notice any allergic reaction. 5. With regular usage, you will start seeing the results in 2 weeks. 6. Avoid getting the cream in contact with sensitive areas such as eyes, ears, nose and vagina.
