ARIOL is indicated for the treatment of Schizophrenia Acute treatment of Major Depressive Disorder Irritability Associated with Autistic Disorder Treatment of Tourette’s Disorder

ARIOL’s antipsychotic activity is likely due to combination of antagonism at D2 receptors that relieves positive symptoms and antagonism at 5HT2A receptors that relieves negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

ARIOL is well absorbed with peak plasma concentration occurring within 3 to 5 hours. Bioavailability: 87%; Volume of Distribution: 4.9 L/kg; Metabolism: Hepatic

The recommended starting and target dose of ARIOL is 10 or 15mg/day administered on a once-a-day schedule without regard to meals.
