ALFAST is indicated in relieving symptoms of seasonal allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes or itching of the nose and throat.

ALFAST competes with free histamine and exhibits specific, selective peripheral H1 antagonistic activity. This block the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms (e.g. nasal congestion, watery eyes) brought on by histamine.

Rapidly absorbed following oral administration Bioavailability: 40% Protein binding: 97-99% Half-life: 8.4 hours

Adult dose: 10mg orally once a day
